Okay first things first – this video was directed by Hype Williams. Jodeci, who could now join the ranks of other former stars at the Hot Mess Awards, really outdid themselves with the whole album Diary of a Mad Band. This single “Feenin” wasn’t as popular as “Come and Talk to Me” or “Forever My Lady” from their debut Forever My Lady, but “Feenin” had this air of psychotic passion that made it impossible not to watch when the video came on. Not to mention, parts of the video were in an insane asylum. Respect to Jodeci – they were a whole different breed of naughty. Their mark on all-male groups that followed was undeniable. We’re definitely at a loss these days for that kind of a boy band!
