Phat Fashions executive Kimora Lee Simmons will have another opportunity to showcase her busy life for fans of her hit reality show, Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane.

The half-hour series, which has been renewed for a second season by the Style network, features a look at how Simmons balances her role as mother to daughters Ming Lee and Aoki Lee with her new and expanded role as creative director of Phat Fashions, including global brands Phat Farm and Baby Phat.

According to Style Network executive vice president Salaam Coleman Smith, Simmons is a magnet for viewers in search of someone who continues to aim high, while juggling personal responsibilities.

“Kimora is one of those amazing personalities people love to watch.,” Smith stated about the network’s reason for green lighting another season. “From her role as a celebrity and successful CEO, to her extraordinary devotion to her children, Kimora’s life is always entertaining and often inspiring.”

Since its August 5, 2007 debut, Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane has become Style’s highest rated original series ever, as it attracted a growing number of viewers among households and women age 18-49.

The show, which is shot on location in Los Angeles, Miami and New York, will feature birthday parties, public appearances, ad campaign shoots and insider meetings at the Phat Fashions offices, among other behind-the-scenes action in episodes during the second season.

Fans will also meet her extended family and the “cast” of characters that inhabit her daily life.

The second season of Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane will premiere at 8 PM ET/PT April 20 on Style.
