Grammy Award winning group The Roots will show Philadelphia some brotherly love in June by hosting a day long concert at Festival Pier. On June 7, The Roots will perform alongside Gnarls Barkley, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, The Cool Kids, Santogold, Deerhoof, J*Davey, Diplo and Esperanza. Doors open at noon, while the show starts at 2:00 PM. General admission to the day long concert is $49.50 and are on sale now at all Ticketmaster locations, as well as LiveNation.com.This Sunday, The Roots will be live on Comedy Central’s Night of Too Many Stars, which will be hosted by Jon Stewart. The Roots are preparing to release their highly anticipated 10th album Rising Down, which is due in stores April 29.
