San Diego Chargers Offensive Lineman Marcus McNeill is bringing together celebrities from the worlds of Sports and Hip-Hop, for a charity weekend benefiting his hometown of Atlanta.

Held over three days starting Friday (April 25), McNeill’s 1st Annual Charity Weekend will raise funds for the Pro Bowler’s non-profit, Macks Miracles Foundation, which aims to improve the lives of children by educating them on leading a healthy lifestyle and fighting obesity.

McNeill, 24, will kick off the weekend with a special appearance at Cedar Grove High School in Ellenwood, GA, where he was coached by his father, who continues to coach at the Dekalb County school.

The weekend will also include a “Friday Night Lights” themed celebrity mixer and will conclude with “The Players Bowl,” a celebrity fundraiser at posh Atlanta bowling alley/nightspot 300 with confirmed guests including Jim Jones, Young Jeezy, BG, Core DJs CEO Tony Neal, Clinton Portis, and Shawne Merriman.

The Players’ Ball will serve as the Mack’s Miracle Foundation’s first fundraiser, with proceeds benefiting McNeill’s next charitable project: Mack’s Miracle Youth Camp, which will hold it’s inaugural session in Atlanta this summer.

The program will bring together various celebrities to teach area kids about the importance of fitness and healthy eating habits.

Campers will also be treated to a special Hip-Hop concert at the end of the summer.
