The mansion at the center of a legal battle between rapper 50 Cent and his ex-girlfriend was burnt to the ground this morning around 5:00 am.

According to reports, the Dix Hills, Long Island mansion that housed 50 Cent’s ex, Shaniqua Tompkins and the rapper’s son caught on fire around 5:00 am this morning.

Six people that were inside of the mansion at the time of the fire were taken to Huntington Hospital, where they were treated for non-threatening injuries.

The $1.4 million dollar six bedroom, five bathroom mansion, was situated on an acre of land before it burned completely to the ground.

In April, Tompkins filed a breach of contract lawsuit against the rapper, claiming he was attempting to evict her and his 10-year-old from the mansion unjustly.

Police and the Arson unit are investigating to determine the cause of the raging blaze, which took firefighters from five different counties to control.

TMZ.com reports that earlier in the week, a member of 50 Cent’s entourage “trashed” Tompkins lawyer’s office during a deposition session, which led to a police report being filed.

It has been confirmed that Tompkins and two of her children, including 50 Cent’s son were among those injured in the inferno, which authorities believe is arson, because of the intensity of the fire.
