Legal trouble continues to follow rapper T.I. as the mother of the entertainer’s two sons has come forward to request more child support to help raise the youths.

The Associated Press reports that T.I., born Clifford Harris, is being sued by his 29-year-old ex-girlfriend, Lashon Dixon.

Dixon claims that she is having a hard time raising the former couple’s two boys with the $2,000 a month Harris provides for child support.

The boys, age 7 and 8, are the result of T.I.’s relationship with Dixon.

The pair, who have known each other since they were teenagers, were involved in a romantic relationship prior to Harris achieving stardom as a rapper.

Dixon is asking the court to order a stipend that is equal to the money Harris makes as a successful entertainer.

In addition to the sons he has with Dixon, Harris fathers two boys with his fiancee, former Xscape member, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle.

The palimony suit, which was filed in Fulton County Superior Court, comes as Harris serves 1,000 hours of community service after pleading guilty to federal weapons charges.

The rapper is expected to complete his sentence in March when he begins serving a one-year stint in prison. T.I. is currently preparing to release his forthcoming album Paper Trail.

The project, which features the hit single “Whatever You Like,” is slated to hit stores on September. 30.
