Hey everybody! Hope all is well. There’s been a few Sundays where I’ve stressed how I love a good ole’ duet, but have I mentioned how much I love a good ole’ remix too? Well I do, and the song I picked for this Sunday really caught me off guard the first time I heard it. It’s one of those joints where you have to take a moment and ask yourself, “Is that…!” And then you simply reply, “Wow.”I know some of you are exhausted with hearing T-Pain on every other song on the radio and seeing him in every other video on television. And between him and Lil Wayne, sometimes I wonder when the madness will stop! But anyway, this week for Sunday Selection I’ve chosen “Can’t Believe It (The Remix)” featuring T-Pain and Justin Timberlake. Yup, Justin Timberlake! I guess T-Pain decided to flip the script and swap out Lil Wayne with his label mate JT, just in time for the release of his new album. And I can’t say I’ve been all that keen on JT since the whole Nipplegate incident back in 2004, but slowly he’s winning back my affection. Justin does his thing with T-Pain, and his guest appearance gives the song more longevity seeing it was almost time to put it in the recurrent category.I am so happy that T-Pain’s CD is finally coming out. And it’s not because I’m one of his biggest fans, it’s so he can sit his ass down and we can forget about him for a little while. Ever since “I’m Sprung” hit the airwaves back in 2005, he’s been going strong; saturated all over the place. And that damn Auto-Tune has spread like wild fire and it’s time for someone to put it out. So many artists have adopted it it’s scary! And needless to say, a small break from it all would be good for T-Pain and all Hip-Hop and R&B fans. And speaking of that damn Auto-Tune at the end of the song T-Pain says, “Start signing those papers people. Auto-Tune is on its way out.” Does that mean what I think it does?  I know some of you are shouting for joy. LOL… But now, I’ve got a question to ask. Are you happy now? Happy to know that the King of Auto-Tune is saying that he’s ready to put it to rest or do want it to stick around for a while longer. Let me know what you think. Thanks for checking what I had to say this week.Until next time y’all enjoy this week’s Sunday Selection – “Can’t You Believe It (The Remix)”Can’t Believe It Remix w/ Justin Timberlake – T-PainPoll Answers
