Island Def Jam has confirmed that albums from rappers Kanye West and Ludacris have been shuffled again – but this time the highly anticipated releases will land in stores a day earlier than expected.

In breaking with the traditional record release day of Tuesday, Kanye’s 808s & Heartbreak and Ludacris’ Theater of the Mind will land in stores on Monday, November 24.

Both albums were slated to land in stores the following day, but IDJ has adjusted the dates to take advantage of Thanksgiving holiday, which is one of the biggest weeks for shopping in the United States all year.

For fans of rock, IDJ has also adjusted the release date for The Killers’ third studio album, titled Day & Age to November 24 as well.

Kanye West and Ludacris are expected to post big numbers for IDJ.

West’s 808s & Heartbreak is the follow up to his hit 2007 album Graduation, which debuted at #1, moving over 956,000 units its first week in stores.

Ludacris’ Theater of the Mind is the follow up to his platinum album Release Therapy, which debuted at #1 as well and moved over 300,000 copies the first week out.
