Eminem’s younger brother appeared in court today (August 26) to face sentencing for a DUI charge.

 

Nate Mathers, 23, was originally pulled over in April, after he failed to yield for an ambulance in Macomb Township.

 

A field sobriety test revealed the rapper’s blood alcohol level was at 0.16, more than twice the Michigan’s legal limit of .008.

 

Last month, Mathers, who raps under the alias Nate Kane, pleaded guilty to his second offense of operating a vehicle while visibly impaired.

 

Today, Mathers was ordered to serve 100 hours of community service in addition to paying $1,000 in fines and court costs.

 

Additionally, Mathers must attend an outpatient counseling for liquor and drugs and consistent monitoring for alcohol consumption.

 

If the fines are not paid by this Friday (August 28), Mathers will face 100 days in jail. Township’s district court.

 

Nathan Mathers, who raps as Nate Kane, is the brother of Marshall Mathers, better known as Eminem.
