Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA is planning to release a new conceptual art project that will be unveiled to the public on January 1, 2010.

The rapper’s 20-year-career will be commemorated by WAIL (When Art Imitates Life) when the rapper unveils ‘Victory or Death.”

The producer revealed few details about the project, which is described as a conceptual, “highly fine art release.”

According to The RZA, the piece is a “reworking of history onto massive canvas that focuses on the concept of ‘hearing the call and revolution in an inspiring and provocative way.’”

“It didn’t begin 20 years ago…more like 200 years ago. And when you see the piece we’re making right here, you’re going to know what I’m talking about,” RZA told AllHipHop.com. “We’re about to rewrite and change history.”

WAIL focuses on creating innovative, fine art with musical icons at the helm of the process.

The company owned by MTV host/radio personality Sway and his longtime partner King Tech of The Wake Up Show, along with creativity house SceneFour.

RZA teamed with WAIL earlier this year to begin conceptualizing the concept for his oversized canvas.

On January 1, 360 prints of the massive canvas will be available for sale.video platformvideo managementvideo solutionsfree video player
