We are all deeply saddened by the destruction and tragic deaths that have resulted from the earthquake in Haiti, Yearwood told AllHipHop.com in a prepared statement. The Hip-Hop Caucus is committed to encouraging the public to support the Haitian people by donating to the relief effort. Our goal with the national conference call, and launch of HipHopHelpHaiti.org, is to pull together an infrastructure for the Hip-Hop community to stay supportive, engaged, and organized around what will be a long struggle for the Haitian people to recover.
