(AllHipHop News) The State’s Attorney’s Office in Florida has dropped battery charges against rapper Jim Jones, it was announced today (February 26).

Jones and members of his entourage were accused of beating a local teenager after a spring break concert in Panama City, Florida on March 12 of 2009.

Jones and a group of men were caught on camera assaulting Damion Johns in a parking lot area of the Boardwalk Beach Resort.

Jones was charged with simple battery, but he pleaded not guilty to the charges in April.
