(AllHipHop News) Triple C’s group member Torch will appear in New York City tonight (March 23) to help aspiring artists pursue their music careers. Torch, who was born in the Bronx, is signed to Rick Ross’ Maybach Music and is also a member of Triple C’s, which features Gunplay, Young Breed and Rick Ross. Originally raised in the Castle Hills Projects, Torch moved to Miami in his teenagers years and eventually met Rick Ross and the rest of the Triple C collective. Tonight, he will host his “Pass The Torch” showcase at nightspot Retreat, in an attempt to highlight bourgeoning talent. “I am very appreciative of my fans and am fortunate enough to help other aspiring artist out there that may have not been heard or have the funding to generate somewhat of a buzz in they city,” Torch told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “Hopefully we can help jump start thier music career. “The event, which is being produced in conjunction with The Specialyst Group, kicks off at 8:00 PM EST.
