I think I told you all this already, but Mr. Scarface is coming back out with a new CD and I have the rumored title. The word on the street is that the album is going to be called Dopeman Music and the early word is that it is a classic. YEP! I know Face has been in the game for a long time, but he’s pretty much always been a classic artist. So, keep your ears out.
WOW! SUGE ROBBED YUKMOUTH?
(AllHipHop News) Police are seeking Hip-Hop mogul Marion “Suge” Knight for allegedly beating and robbing Luniz group member Yukmouth.
According to TMZ.com, police were called to Ralph’s supermarket in the San Fernando Valley.
Knight and an entourage of 10 men apparently accosted Yukmouth around 10:00 PM last night.
They then allegedly stole $92,000 worth of jewelry from the Oakland rapper, who is best known for the hit “I Got 5 On It” with The Luniz.
Police are also seeking Knight for warrant over a previous misdemeanor offense.

“Every artist has haters. I’ve come from nothing to touring the world so I expect it. A month ago I was touring in one of the richest places in the world where only a select few rappers have ever been invited to. I toured Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar and Beirut. I performed in palaces and stood in front of bombed out buildings in Beirut. I didnt hear or read one complaint. I had a Sheikh offer me $1 million dollars to do a verse for him. Most recently I performed 3 sold out shows in India and had a great time except my stomach is still hurting. The crowds ranged from 500-1000 people at each venue. I will be releasing the footage shortly. A lot of people assume that I’m an overnight success. I signed my deal without having any co-signs or riding off anyone’s back. I’m from New York. No labels were giving deals to NY artists at that time even while I had an independent record on the Billboard chart. I don’t have to defend my credibility to anyone. Research it if you don’t believe me. Within the coming weeks I will be releasing some of my 2004 Method Man tour footage to the public. Instead of hating, perhaps our efforts will be of better use to encourage and uplift the same upcoming artists who were once in my situation. Nobody ever blogs about the positive aspects of my career. If you’re going to critize someone speak intelligently. After every show I shake everyones hand. I take pictures with anybody who asks. I don’t hide behind anyone because I take personal interaction with my fans very seriously and give back to them at every show. How many other artists do that? The hater has a right to his opinion. JOJO AND DIGGY
Did you see all the damn brutality on JoJo Simmons over the weekend? After the announcement that Diggy had gotten signed by Atlantic Records, there was a trending topic that said “#JojoMustFeelLike” and the people would add their two cents at the end. So for example, one said “#JojoMustFeelLike Solange Knowles backstage at a Beyonce concert.” Now that was just a sample, but they were BRUTALLY CRUEL! I never saw such a mean mob of tweets. Both JoJo and Diggy responded with grace though.
“[Atlantic is] really hip to my vision and they work the way [artists] want to work by giving them a lot of creative freedom. And their team is amazing; everybody’s real cool and just as excited as me to get started on my project,” he says. “Honestly, I’m just super duper thankful for the opportunity that Atlantic gave me and every other label. Looks like the rumors of Fab and Juelz standing up University of Windsor are not true. Peep the letter below.
I am a student at the University of Windsor who would like to clear up some rumours about the Fabolous and Juelz “no show” at Windsor Sports Weekend. This year was different than years past. This year two groups decided to compete for the “best” sports weekend. One group had Pooch Hall, Lloyd, P Reign (a Toronto artist) and Movado (a reggae artist). All of that groups artists came through and did their thing; it was an AMAZING WEEKEND. The other group who promised Juelz Santana and Fabolous did NOT have the money to bring these artists. They charged 70 bucks to see the acts and charged 1000 for VIP booths that they did NOT have. The reason the artists did not show was that it was unorganized and they didn’t have the money to pay for them. I know people who attended their weekend via the bustrip (which includes a roundtrip from like Toronto to Windsor, entry to all the parties and a hotel room). People said that the bus LEFT them, the hotel KICKED them out! and the original venue that they had KICKED them out. All because the people didn’t have the money to pay. They now had to find their own way home and to the parties, find a place to stay, and attend a party at a different location (which was announced last minute) So while Juelz and Fab may have been scheduled to appear and had all these drops saying they’re going to come, The groups that put them on, couldn’t afford to pay them. And THAT”S what went down. To make matters worse the two culprits behind the situation have gone GHOST with everybody’s money!
