The New Video for “She Makes Me Feel Alright”

Freeway and Jake One will premiere the new video for “She Makes Me Feel Alright” this Sunday on MTV Jams, during “Philly Day.” In addition to showcasing new music from the city’s top artists, “Philly Day” will also spotlight new emerging artists. “She Makes Me Feel Alright” is the second video release from Freeway and Jake One’s critically acclaimed project, The Stimulus Package. Other artists included in “Philly Day” include Meek Mill,  Eve, Beanie Sigel, The Roots, Tone Trump, Gillie Da Kid and others. Videos from rap legends like Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, Steady B., Cool C., Schoolly D and others. “Philly Day” airs on MTV Jams this Sunday (May 2nd). Swizz Beatz will be honored by performing rights society SESAC next week in New York City. The rapper will receive the “Inspiration Humanitarian Award for his role in raising money and awareness for the relief effort in Haiti. Swizz co-wrote and co-produced “Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour)” which also featured Jay-Z and Rihanna. The song was a top-seller on iTunes for weeks and helped to raise millions of dollars for the country, which was rocked by a 7.0 earthquake in January. Swizz will be on hand to accept the award at the IAC Building in Manhattan on May 12th. Swizz Beatz is currently in the studio working on a new album. Erykah Badu has pleaded not guilty to charges of disorderly conduct stemming from her controversial video, “Window Seat.”  Badu was hit with the charge after she stripped naked as she shot the video in Dallas’ Dealey Plaza. Badu was hit with the charges after police encouraged witnesses in the video to complain in order to charge the soul singer. One witness came forward and said Badu’s actions offended her and her two small children, resulting in the misdemeanor charge. Instead of paying the $500 fine associated with the crime, Badu will fight the charge.
