Wayne says he’s doing fine in “the penthouse suite” of Rikers. When asked about the iPod incident he says “I can’t live without my music”
DREAM RESPONDSThe Dreams remake of Aaliyah’s “One In A Million” for his forthcoming Love Sessions mixtape had the blogosphere in an uproar yesterday. Personally I think that’s just one of those songs you don’t touch, and if you do you better MURDER it. GUCCI AND BANKS UNITE
Gucci Mane has been going full speed since his release and rumor has it Lloyd Banks is in the middle of a bidding war between Interscope and Def Jam after the success of “Beamer, Benz and Bently” but who knew the two would connect. They recently linked up to work on a record. It’s unclear who’s album it will wind up on though.
KELIS IS AN ANIMAL
Aside from taking Nas to the cleaners Kelis has been hard at work on her own music. Her album is already out in Europe but won’t be available in the U.S. until July 6.
