(AllHipHop News) Queens, New York rapper LL Cool J has been tapped to present at the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards next week in Los Angeles. LL, who stars in the hit CBS series NCIS: Los Angeles, will present alongside actors and actresses like Joel McHale, Tina Fey, Ricky Gervais, January Jones and others.Even with the Hollywood accolades, LL manages to give back to the community that raised him. Earlier this month, the rapper/actor returned to his Queens community, where he launched the 6th Annual Jump and Ball Basketball and Double-Dutch Tournament at Roy Wilkins Southern Queens Park in Jamaica. LL co-created the tournament with New York State Senate Malcolm Smith to help keep children off the streets to avoid negative influences. “I fund the Jump and Ball Tournament because I remember where we came from,” LL Cool J told AllHipHop.com. “And I present at the Emmy’s to show you where we can go.”Jimmy Fallon will host the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards, which will air live on NBC on August 29th from 8:00-11:00 PM EST.
