(AllHipHop News) The Rock The Bells Festival kicked off over the weekend in at the NOS Event Center on Saturday (August 21st) in San Bernardino, California. Over 25,000 fans gathered at Guerrilla Union’s annual show, which took place from 12PM-12AM.  The following evening (August 22nd) the tour landed at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View.A number of top rappers performed their entire debut albums for the crowd. Snoop Dogg performed Doggystyle, Slick Rick performed The Great Adventures Of Slick Rick, A Tribe Called Quest did Midnight Marauders, KRS-One performed Criminal Minded and Wu-Tang performed Enter The 36 Chambers. Fans also caught performances by Immortal Technique, Wiz Khalifa, Brother Ali and others. Lauryn Hill drew attention on both shows over the weekend. On Saturday, Hill was criticized for a sloppy performance. On Sunday, she was an hour late for the show, but that night’s performance is drawing positive reviews. Over 20 acts performed over the weekend to over a combined crowd over about 50,000 people.According to local police, there were no issues during either of the weekend events, although massive traffic jams forced the Best in the West Racing to cancel their stock car races on Saturday night at Orange Show Speedway.On August 28th, the 7th Annual Rock The Bells tour will hit Governors Island. The tour will wrap in in Washington D.C. at the Merriweather Post Pavilion on August 29th.
