(AllHipHop News) Since late in 2009, Emcee/Producer Statik Selektah and Termanology have been hard at work their collaborative album 1982. Both artists hail from Massachusetts and the duo have worked together frequently throughout the last five years, but now are releasing their first full-length collaborative project. Statik has revealed that 1982 will be released on October 26, 2010 through Showoff Records, in conjunction with Term’s ST. Records and famed Boston underground Hip Hop imprint—Brick. “I’m excited, the album is finally here and hip-hop is in desperate need of an album like this right now,” Termanology explained. The 1st leak from the album is called “Goin Back”, and will also have a video directed John Colombo, who recently shot visuals the for official single off the 1982 album – “You Should Go Home,” which features Bun B & Maybach Music crooner Masspike Miles. Other album highlights include Term spazzing out on the 100 bar intro “The World Renown” and linking up with legendary MC’s Inspectah Deck, Styles P & M.O.P. As an added bonus, Statik Selektah has also revealed that the duo will release a free Bonus EP of exclusive material to those who provide proof of purchase of the album. The video for “You Should Go Home” is out now and the single is available on iTunes & all digital stores online. Statik Selektah & Termanology will also be on tour in support of the release at the given dates below.
