Wale will also be joined by Washington Wizards ball player John Wall during a food drive to help the less fortunate. It’s important to touch the community, all of these other things are irrelevant without the people. The line between poverty and wealth is real thin. The rich live across the street from the poor. You have to be able to look these people in the eyes. When I make music, I’m trying to tell their story as well, so you gotta be able to look them in the eye, talk to the people, touch them, that’s what it’s about.” Wale will be giving away food at Bar 7 in Washington DC from 10:00am-2:00PM.
