(AllHipHop News) Young Money rap star Drake is on the receiving end of demands from an Oklahoma City club owner, who wants the entertainer to pay money for an incident that took place at a recently-held private party.
In a letter sent to Drake and his manager that was obtained by TMZ.com, the owner of Dollhouse Lounge claims Drake asked him to open the club just for the rapper on March 1 to host a private party. Drake arrived at the club with his entourage, the owner stated, adding that several Dollhouse employees noticed the smell of marijuana come from Drake’s VIP section as the party was going on.
As a result, the owner claims the party was shut down immediately, as the Oklahoma City police soon arrived to restore order and usher partygoers out of the Dollhouse Lounge. The owner further stated that the club’s manager was arrested after authorities issued her a ticket upon discovering a half-burnt marijuana cigarette in Drake’s section.
In light of what happened, the owner wants Drake to compensate him for several thousand dollars worth of trouble he experienced … “or ELSE.” TMZ reports the owner thinks it’s “BS his club is taking the blame — because he’d never be in this mess if Drake never asked him to host a party.”
At this time, Drake’s reps have yet to comment on the situation.
