When we spoke to XV a few weeks back – before he headlined his first New York City show – he updated us on the status of his debut album,The Kid With the Green Backpack, which boasts Just Blaze as executive producer. We also discovered that XV isn’t just a Warner Bros. recording artist; he’s also a major movie and comic fan.
It was only natural, with the summer movie season officially upon us starting with tonight’s midnight release of The Avengers, to ask XV about his most anticipated summer movies. In a movie season that will see releases like The Dark Knight Rises, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Men In Black III and The Amazing Spider-Man among many others, the kid from Kansas picks his top three choices.
