(AllHipHop News) Mobile, Alabama-based rapper Rich Boy is poised to make a return to the rap game thanks to a new deal with eOne.

Rich boy is the latest artist to join the eOne roster and is planning a new studio album.

“My upcoming album is a real natural. No records were forced, and I was just recording and having fun, just catching the moment.,” Rich Boy told AllHipHop.com in a statement today (June 12).

In the meantime, Rich Boy is dropping a mixed tape on June 21 titled “First Days of Summer.”

Rich Boy, best known for his platinum selling single “Throw Some D’s,” is currently in the studio working on his new album for eOne.

“We are proud and excited to officially be a part of the eOne family. Rich Boy is a talented and creative visionary who despite his surroundings in Mobile AL, was able rise above the negativity to have a Platinum hit record,” added Rich Boy’s manager Delaney McGill. “With continual drive determination and management direction Rich boy’s new music will be consistent with what all his fans have been waiting for.”

Rich Boy’s untitled studio album for eOne is due in stores in 2012.
