EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Lil’ Scrappy Says Diamond Didn’t Want “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” To Succeed Without Her

EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: SCRAPPY REVEALS WHY HE’S “SOFT” AND RESPONDS TO RUMORS ABOUT DIAMOND QUITTING “LOVE & HIP HOP” BECAUSE OF HIM

Atlanta rapper Lil’ Scrappy was already a household name in Atlanta due to his popular songs, “Money In The Bank” and “No Problem,” but being cast in VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” has taken his popularity to a whole other level. Over 3.6 million people tuned in to watch the premiere episode last week, which centered around Scrappy and his mother, “Momma Dee”, as well as the mother of his daughter, Erica. Before the show premiered, a rumor surfaced that claimed that Scrappy’s ex-girlfriend, rapper Diamond, was a cast member of the show and then quit – a claim Diamond denies.

In an exclusive interview with AllHipHop.com, Scrappy came clean and revealed that Diamond was in fact a cast member of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta“, but quit the show out of fear.

“[Diamond] heard that my mom was on the show, and my baby momma was on the show – two people that she doesn’t care to like,” said Scrappy. “That’s half of it; she thinks that they were going to get into it, and they were going to fight. The other half is that she doesn’t want to be on the same level as them making the same money…she didn’t want ‘Love and Hip Hop [Atlanta]’ to succeed without her.”

Check out the interview with Scrappy below, where he finally responds to the rumors about whether or not he bought Diamond her new, plumped-up bottom, admits that Soulja Boy Stole His Ex-Girlfriend, and shares why he would describe himself as “soft.”
