A3C Hip-Hop Festival Adds Twista, YP, CunningLynguists and Phil Ade

THE LINEUP IS GROWING FOR ATLANTA’S UPCOMING A3C SHOWCASE

(AllHipHop News) Atlanta’s A3C Festival has announced its second round of artists to be showcased during its festival that kicks off on October 11 and runs through October 13 at The Masquerade. The annual event will be hosted in Atlanta’s Little 5 Points neighborhood, and this year, the additions to the A3C lineup continue to highlight regional sounds across the country. Notable additions include the CunninLynguists, Phil Ade, and Los Rakas, while a host of other MCs have also been added to the line up. Headlining Chicago’s Fake Shore Drive showcase will be Twista, joined by YP, Mush Millions and others, while the DMV (D.C.-Maryland-Virginia) and Indie Life showcases include Los, Phil Ade, Fat Trel, Gods’illa, RAtheMC, SmCity, Harmony Muzik, Kingpen Slim, Nike Nando, and Pro’Verb

Kevin Nottingham’s The Underground Express showcase is set to feature the CunninLynguists, Toki Wright, G-Side, Nemo Achilda, MC ADaD, The Doppelgangaz, Sha Stimuli, Luck-One, Supreme INK, Substance, and Eric Biddines.

A3C’s has also announced its second annual international showcase, Planet Hip Hop, as it partners with NewSkoolRules to present the aforementioned Los Rakas, Ana Tijoux, Kevin Lester, Emmanuel Jal, BocaFloja, and others.

In addition, the Atlanta Hip Hop collective Two9 showcase will include includes Curtis Williams, Key, Wavy Wallace, Damien, Fatkidsbrotha, and Retro Sushi.

ReverbNation and Sonicbids have also selected a few artists, and after numerous submissions, RAtheMC, Gods’Illa, Kevin Lester and Emmanuel Jal were selected, although A3C will continue to accept artists’ submissions through both websites until August 31.

All artists that submit, regardless of selection, receive a three-day festival pass through Sonicbids or a code to purchase discounted tickets through ReverbNation.

Tech N9ne, Gunplay, Skyzoo, Hopsin, Oddisee, and Chris Webby are just a few of other artists confirmed to perform at the 2012 event in addition to a special appearance by Ghet-O-Vision/Shady recording artist Yelawolf.

A3C Hip Hop Festival tickets are available on the A3C website, and attendees are encouraged to purchase tickets early. three-day passes are $33 until July 31.
