Lil’ Wayne has been pretty hush-hush when it comes to the beef between YMCMB’s Drake and his friend and often collaborator, Chris Brown. Our friends over at MTV got Weezy to finally break his silence on the matter, and to our suprise, Lil Tunechi actually thinks that the situation is funny. Check out what he told Rahman Dukes from MTV below:
“I can’t front, I just laughed at ‘em, like, it’s funny to me. I thank God that I ain’t going through it though. I done been through too much.”
Well, Wayne didn’t say too much, but it’s good to hear that he’s not taking sides or taking the matter too seriously.
In related news, the people at club W.i.P that night are taking the matter very seriously and have slapped both Drake and Chris Brown with two lawsuits. One suit was filed by the club owner alleging that the two artists “ordered security personnel, bodyguards, friends and entourage to join the fight, which erupted into a violent brawl on a massive scale.” The second lawsuit comes from a NYC based male model who claims that he suffered “severe personal injuries” including a severed tendon on his right hand, thanks to the flying chards of glass. This is in addition to the 20 million dollar law suit filed by NBA star Tony Parker.
I think that celebrity fight worth millions may be looking a lot more tempting to Drake and Chris Brown. These lawsuits have merit and don’t seem to be going anywhere.
