JAY-Z IN NEW AD CAMPAIGN FOR GAY MARRIAGE, BUBBA SPARXXX HAS GONE COUNTRY, AND FUTURE HITS #1

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Jay-Z has further endorsed same-sex marriage, in a new advertising campaign promoted by The Four 2012. The goal of The Four 2012 is to support the four states where there are same-sex marriage ballot initiatives. The advertising campaign is centered in the states of Maine, Minnesota, Maryland and Washington State. The advertisement uses Jay-Z’s comments to CNN in May 2012, regarding gay marriage. “Discriminating against gays is no different than discriminating against blacks. It’s discrimination, plain and simple,” Jay-Z said.

Atlanta rapper Future continues his run on the charts, with his latest single “Turn on the Lights.” The new single is #1 on Media Base’s Urban Mainstream Chart. “Turn on the Lights,” which was produced by Mike Will, is taken from Future’s debut album Pluto. The release has already produced tracks like “Magic,” featuring T.I. and “Same Damn Time,” both of which have landed in the Top 10 on Billboard’s R&B/HIp-Hop Songs chart.
