Eminem's "Berzerk" Debuts At #3 On Hot 100 Due To Huge First Week Sales

Eminem’s New Single Breaks The Top 5 In First Week Of Release

(AllHipHopNews) It appears Shady’s back. According to Billboard, Eminem’s new single “Berzerk” sold 362,000 downloads in its first week. The total was enough to land Em in the number 3 spot on the Hot 100 chart behind Katy Perry’s “Roar” at 1 and Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” at 2.

“Berzerk” also places Eminem in a tie with Lil Wayne for most Top 10 debuts by a male artist with 10. It’s his 15th Top 10 single overall. Em now only trails Wayne and Ludacris (18) and Jay Z (20) among rappers all time in that category.

Speaking of Jay, his “Holy Grail” collaboration with Justin Timberlake jumps back into the top 5 on the chart thanks in part to the debut of the song’s video on YouTube. The Magna Carta Holy Grail track rises from 6 to 5.

Eminem’s next album The Marshall Mathers LP 2 is scheduled for release November 5th.
