(AllHipHop News) Rapper Lil Wayne has expanded his fashion empire thanks to a new partnership with Parisian watch company wize&ope. The partnership with wize&ope is the rap star’s first international accessory deal.
The rap star is a “major shareholder” in the brand, which was created by two Parisian businessmen, Victor Louzon and Benjamin Bettane.
wize&ope, which is named after two fictional characters who came from outer space, offers its flagship watch, as well as sunglasses, toys, headphones and other accessories.
“My personal style, as well as my everyday lifestyle, has always been about individuality and being open-minded,” Lil Wayne said. “I was drawn to wize&ope because of their amazing design, fresh packaging and their support of individuality. I’m excited to bring wize&ope watches stateside and inspire their future collections.”
wize&ope is currently available throughout Europe and Asia, and will debut with Lil Wayne is its brand ambassador in North America in February 2014.
