“I’m so excited to share Church Clothes 2 with the people as we have gotten more creative and the music is amazing,” said Lecrae in a statement. “The mixtape has definitely gone to another level, I have grown as an artist with all my experiences and I wanted to share that with my fans.”

The Houston native made history earlier this year when he became the first Christian rapper to win a Grammy for Best Gospel Album for his LP Gravity. Lecrae recently performed at the BET Music Matters Showcase with Meek Mill during the A3C Hip Hop Festival. His latest single “I’m Turnt” is available for purchase on iTunes.

“Lecrae continues to defy the box that people have placed him in and in turn is being embraced by his peers and the public,” added Don Cannon. “His music shows how much of a diverse artist he is and that is what will possibly change today’s music culture. People need to pay attention.”
