(AllHipHop News) Being one the biggest selling girl groups of all time and having intriguing personal stories is a combination for a hit TV movie. VH1’s CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story brought in big ratings for the network on Monday night.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the biopic about the 1990’s R&B trio had 4.5 million total viewers. That number is the highest Neilsen rating for VH1 in five years. It was also the highest rated original movie in the network’s history. The program generated 1.9 million tweets during its airing making it the most tweeted show of the night.
