DFP’s story reads:

Bass, who has started a label called Motunes Media, says he’s also been mixing new material by the mercurial funk-pop giant Sly Stone with members of the original Family Stone band, along with new D12 tracks, including three with Eminem.

Mark and his brother Jeff Bass have both contributed to Eminem and D12 projects in the past. The group has not released an official album since the double platinum D12 World in 2004. Their initial LP, Devil’s Night, came out in 2001.

Along with Eminem, the surviving members of D12 include Bizarre, Mr. Porter, Kuniva, Swifty McVay, and Fuzz Scoota. Two original members have passed away- Bugz in 1999 and Proof in 2006.
