Deadline reports Street Dreams will be set in the Queensbridge housing projects where Nas was raised. The half-hour program takes place in the 1990’s and covers the “music, family, and the trials and tribulations of the rap game.”

Nas is said to be taking part in the writing and music for the series. Jonathan Levine (The Wackness, How To Make It In America) is on to write and direct.

Xbox is also developing an original live action Halo series. The show is being produced by Oscar-winning filmmaker Steven Spielberg. The company has yet to release a project.
