Hip-Hop Rumors: About That Kanye West Moment With Pres. George Bush…

RUMORS: ABOUT THAT KANYE WEST/GEORGE BUSH MOMENT….

Here is something interesting.

Remember when George Bush was defecating on Black People down there in Louisiana when Hurricane Katrina hit? Don’t even get me started with the whole BS around that fiasco. I definitely think there was a concerted effort to “take” New Orleans back. That’s another rumor. But, the aftermath is what I want to talk about.

I recently got an interesting rumor about Mr. West and it deals with this moment.

I was recently told (don’t even ask how this came about) that Kanye didn’t have any intention of doing anything off script. As you know, he ended up saying “George Bush doesn’t care about Black people.” But, I was told Kanye West coerced into making that bold move. Apparently there were some politically minded folks and they applied pressure to Kanye to do something bold. Why? Because the telethon at the time was such a big TV play that they said you HAVE to do something. Kanye did just that even though…I’m thinking he didn’t really want to. You can definitely tell that he’s way uncomfortable with it. At first, I was thinking that was because he was just stammering. But, now – with the guy we see these days – I’m not so sure. He may have just been “bullied” into speaking out against the president at the time.

We’ll probably never know unless some industry insider says something, but the aftermath of it all…including present day says a lot.

Oh…and Kanye did semi-apologize later.

LOL…this is funny, but the end of this video is pretty compelling. Yeezy was very uncomfortable. Wonder if he got a “visit” from some “people.”
