Nicki Minaj Sued For $30 Million By Wig Designer

NICKI MINAJ’S EX-WIG GURU SUES HER FOR $30 MILLION OVER STOLEN WIG DESIGNS

(AllHipHop News) One of Nicki Minaj’s favorite accessories may take a big bite into her bank account. Nicki Minaj’s former “wig guru” Terrance Davidson is suing the rapper for $30 million over her allegedly selling and licensing wig designs he made exclusively for her.

In the suit field today (February 21st) in Atlanta, Davidson alleges that in addition to selling his wig designs, Minaj’s management encouraged Davidson to not partake in a multi-million dollar reality TV show in order to preserve his partnership with Minaj. Their partnership began in January of 2010 when he designed numerous wigs cited in the lawsuit for Nicki and continued until 2013 when he left over “creative differences.”

Davidson may not have owned or licensed the wig designs he provided to Minaj as his attorneys are not seeking to invoke intellectual property laws but “American morality”:

Her lawyers may complicate it, but we don’t need to get into intellectual-property law. This is basic American morality. Nicki Minaj lied to this man and cheated him.

Nicki Minaj’s attorneys have not commented.
