Rich Homie Quan spoke with HoustonHipHopFix, and the “Type Of Way” performer revealed he is teaming with fellow A-Town newcomer Young Thug for an upcoming joint project.

According to Quan, that collaboration will be the second coming of the creators of Aquemini, Stankonia, and Speakerboxxx/The Love Below.

“The EP me and Thug drop – we the hardest duo since OutKast,” states Quan. “I say that cause they from Atlanta, and we’re from Atlanta. Nothing will ever be better than OutKast, but hardest collabo since OutKast.”

Besides working with Young Thug, Quan also hopes to get in the studio with Jay Z.

“To make my album, I got to have the Jay Zs on there. That’s what I’m saving my money for,” says Quan. “That’s why I gotta do this show for Houston, so I can send Jay that check he want to get on the album.”
