PUSHA T: I THINK “N*GGA” SHOULD DEFINITELY BE BANNED FROM THE NFL

(AllHipHop News) King Push sat down with Larry King to discuss some controversial topics. The G.O.O.D. Music emcee chats with the legendary talk show host about homosexuality in Hip Hop and the use of the “n-word.”

King asks Pusha T why he thinks there are not more openly gay rappers in the industry. The Virginia native responds by challenging the idea that the Hip Hop community would have a problem with a gay rapper if the artist’s music is good.

“At this time, I sort of feel like the gay and homosexual culture is just not – the coming out party is just not that important anymore,” stated Push. “I don’t think we care.”

The conversation then turned to the word “n***a” and Pusha’s position on the NFL’s decision to ban the word.

“I think it definitely should be banned,” says the “Numbers On The Boards” rapper. “Anyone who gets my music, it’s a conscious decision to pick up my music, buy it. I feel like I don’t necessarily want to hear the ‘n-word’ on the instant reply cam as I’m watching the game.”

On his own use of the word he adds, “It’s offensive to some, but I would say that I’m using it amongst my peers and amongst people that I’ speaking with… I’m not offending anyone when I use it amongst people that I’m using it with.”
