DJ EZ Rock, Ralph McDaniels, "Wildstyle" & More To Be Honored At Hip Hop Hall Of Fame Awards

RAKIM, TALIB KWELI, BRAND NUBIAN, SLICK RICK & MORE TO PERFORM AT HIP HOP HALL OF FAME AWARDS SHOW

(AllHipHop News) On Monday, May 19th the Hip Hop Hall of Fame will honor several representatives of the culture at its revitalized award show.

Among the inductees for the 2014 class include Sugar Hill Gang, Charles Ahearn, and Wildstyle, Mr. Magic, Busy Bee, Spoonie G & The Treacherous Three, Sequence, and DJ Hollywood. Video Music Box founder Ralph McDaniels will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award, and the late DJ EZ Rock will also be memorialized during the ceremony.

Part of the celebration for EZ Rock’s contribution to Hip Hop will be an all-star tribute performance. Talib Kweli, Brand Nubian, Slick Rick, MC Busy Bee, Nine and Rakim are all scheduled to perform as well.

The HHHOF Awards Show will take place at Stage 48 in Midtown Manhattan. The event is being hosted by Roxanne Shanté and DJ Mell Starr. For more information about the Hip Hop Hall of Fame visit hiphophof.tv.
