Meek Mill Sentenced Serve Jail Time Over Probation Violation

(AllHipHop News) Earlier today (July 11th) Meek Mill was sentenced to serve time in jail over a probation violation.

According to reports, prosecutors were concerned about Meek’s recent behavior which they claim involves Meek taking a picture with a gun. No word on which photo the prosecution is referring to, however the cover art for Meek’s remix to “Chiraq” back in April may be the one in question which Meek posted on his personal Instagram account back in April:

Multiple reports have Meek serving between three to 6 months in count jail. However, Karen Civil reports that sources with Meek Mill’s team state the rapper will only be serving three to four weeks in jail.

Meek is currently in custody but details on the start of his jail term have not surfaced. Meek is scheduled to perform at Temple University’s Liacouras Center on July 19th as a part of his “Homecoming Tour”
