R&B legends Boyz II Men are returning this year with their 11th album Collide. The icons were also named R&B Group of the century by the RIAA. On a promo roll, last week they released the entertaining commercial for Wendy’s pretzel bun burgers, and have now paid a visit to ‘The Breakfast Club’ on Power 105.1 for a sit-down interview.

The Breakfast Club never lets us down, so Charlamagne, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy dove right into the questions. Shawn Stockman, Nathan Morris, and Wanya Morris spoke about their incredible career, which is spanning nearly three decades. This interview also showed fans how down to earth the legends are as well as how much personality they have! They spoke about their performer residency in Las Vegas, their forthcoming album, the comfortable space they are in right now, and truly being blessed to be able to only do what makes them happy.

Charlagmane, as always, delivered the questions fans at home wanted to know like how they stayed on top for all of these years and the details about Wanya’s relationship with Brandy. Angela Yee closed out asking Shawn about allegations that had been recently suggested on blogs about him cheating. He answered gracefully “I made a mistake with a mistake.”

They also spoke briefly about their Wendy’s commercial, the departure of Michael McCary from the group, and the leadership of Michael Bivins. They also talked about how they came into their clean cut image, and how their music has lead them to mainstream crossover success and corporate gigs. Their new album Collide is slated for release in September.
