Chris Brown Reveals Release Date For "X" Album

CHRIS BROWN TO DROP “X” LP THIS FALL

(AllHipHop News) R&B superstar Chris Brown has been prepping the release of his 6th studio album for a few years. It appears after stints in rehab and jail, the Virginia native is finally ready to drop his X LP.

CB posted a picture to his Instagram page with the date September 16th with a giant “X” overlapping the words. The singer previously announced that the project would be available last May, but a judge ordered Brown be taken into police custody that same month after he was kicked out of a rehabilitation facility in March.

Brown has called X his best album and said he drew inspiration from musical icons Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Sam Cooke. The project’s single “Loyal” has been a huge hit. It peaked in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.
