The show kicked off with a performance from the quadruple force, female group, Havok Jones as they performed their rendition of “Who Can I Run To,” by the 90s band Xscape, followed by a cover of En Vogue’s “Lose Control.” Kris Kelli, fresh out of Kingston, Jamaica, blew the crowd away with songs like Dawn Penn’s “You Don’t Love Me” and “Daddy’s Little Girl.” Following Kelli’s performance, Kenny Burns encouraged R.L. of Next, Columbus Short, formerly, of ABC series Scandal, and members of Jagged Edge to hit the stage.
