It was discovered that someone began digging up Doe’s plot at the Greenwood-Serenity Cemetery. The perpetrators got about a foot and half into the grave before stopping.

Cemetery workers found a shovel sticking upright out of the ground Monday morning. Police believe someone got through a fence the night before.

“It’s crazy. I mean I can’t understand it. I mean what are they looking for? He’s dead,” said Doe’s mother Shirley Thomas.

Ms. Thomas explained her son was not buried with any valuables on him. She added she doesn’t know who might have desecrated her son’s grave.

“I think they were trying to make a statement,” said Thomas.

Doe B was shot on December 28, 2013 at a club in Montgomery. He was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. Two other people were killed from the shooting. Jason McWilliams and Darius Thomas were charged with three counts of capital murder as a result of the incident.

Doe was a member of Atlanta rapper T.I.’s Hustle Gang crew. He released several mixtapes and appeared on Hustle Gang’s G.D.O.D. (Get Dough or Die) project.
