Charlotte, N.C.’s own, Bettie Grind, is back with a new track entitled “Beastie Boys.” “Beastie Boys” is a completely different record from anything out right now in the industry. It’s today’s version of what Rick Rubin was doing for Run DMC, L. L. and obviously The Beastie Boys. Bettie says he created this record in about 30 minutes. It was like the lyrics were already put together in his head. Right now in Hip Hop it seems that artists aren’t taking chances as much. “Beastie Boys” is driven by an electric guitar and heavy bass line. It’s not the typical 1, 2, 3, A, B, C record from everyday today on radio and mp3. This isn’t a record strictly for the south; it’s a record for the masses. His upcoming album “This Real Life” album aka #TRL is all about solidifying himself as an artist to be put in comparison with the top 5 dead or alive. His album will be out soon.
