Jimmy Henchman: I Didn't Snitch, 50 Cent Was Going To Testify

HENCHMAN ASKS “WHO DID I TELL ON AND WHO IS IN JAIL BECAUSE OF ME?”

(AllHipHop News) The story of James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond is one that includes drug trafficking, run ins with the law, tales of setting up 2Pac being shot, creating false news stories, and an ongoing feud with 50 Cent and G-Unit. Over the last two decades the Czar Entertainment founder has become one of the most talked about figures in Hip Hop, despite the fact that he does not rap, sing, or produce music.

Henchman’s most recent media mentions surrounded his murder and conspiracy trial ending in a hung jury earlier this year. The convicted former head of the criminal enterprise known as the “Rosemond Organization” is not cleared of the latest charges just yet. He is scheduled to be retried in 2015 for allegedly orchestrating the killing of G-Unit associate Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher. Henchman is also currently serving a life sentence for drug trafficking and weapons possession convictions.

Don Diva spoke with Henchman for the publication’s Issue 55 cover story. In the piece, Rosemond discussed many of the controversial topics connected to his life including allegations that he was a snitch and his thoughts on 50 Cent. The magazine shared exclusive excerpts from the article with AllHipHop.com.

Henchman on being labeled a snitch:

Who did I tell on and who is in jail because of me… The government skillfully and systematically went after those around me with the help of individuals like [gangster] Haitian Jack, who is now in the witness protection program and was relocated to the Dominican Republic. They would arrest [these people] secretly and have them wear wires or tape me. For instance, my accountant John Dash was filing false taxes and defrauding his clients unbeknownst to me. They got him to testify at my drug trial that I never collected cash for my clients while on tour, including Game and Mike Tyson. They also (got a guy who worked for me, named Tony Martin, to say the same thing. This was a total lie… After the family pain, it’s the betrayal that hurts the most. All the guys that falsely testified or helped the government in bringing me down… that hurts me. I thought these guys were my friends: Khalil Abdullah (Craig Woodley), Winston (Winnie) Harris, Henry (Rollin’ 60- Black) Butler, Muhammad (Tef) Stewart, Tony Martin, Freddy Borges and David Hyatt. God Bless them. If any of them were dying of thirst I would have bled from my wrist to save them. That has proven to be my Achilles heel.

Henchman on rival 50 Cent:

One thing for sure is that Curtis [rapper, 50 Cent] was scheduled to testify at my murder trial, but reneged on the prosecutors at the last minute. Clowns do clown things.

Don Diva Issue 55 is now available. The publication recently launched the brand’s website component  – dondivamag.com.
