Nicki Minaj has grown refreshingly more candid as she’s hit the road in promotion of her Billboard chart listed “The Pinkprint” album, finally providing a more intimate look into the trendsetting raptress.
Gracing the cover of Rolling Stone, she opened up about an abortion she underwent as a teenager while attending Manhattan’s Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. Minaj first referenced the incident inside of a 2008 track titled “Autobiography.”
Explaining her initial thoughts after discovering she was pregnant at 16, “I thought I was going to die. I was a teenager. It was the hardest thing I’d ever gone through.”
