"Empire" Renewed For Second Season On Fox

AFTER ONLY 2 EPISODES TERRENCE & TARAJI’S NEW DRAMA IS ALREADY ONE OF THE NETWORK’S BIGGEST HITS

(AllHipHop News) It only took two episodes for Fox to make the decision to renew their new drama series Empire for a second season. The pilot for the Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson led program opened with big ratings numbers.

Empire‘s initial success was not just a flash in the pan. The series has become the first drama this season to grow from week one to week two. It leads all Fox shows in Video On Demand viewing as well. Lee Daniel’s Empire also brought in the biggest series launch for the network since 2012.
