T-Pain Talks Long Delayed "T-Wayne" Collaborative Album With Lil Wayne (VIDEO)

WHAT’S THE STATUS OF THE TWO STARS’ JOINT PROJECT?

(AllHipHop News) T-Pain and Lil Wayne have been talking about doing a joint project for years. The “Got Money” collaborators even created the group name T-Wayne. Pain spoke with Global Grind about the status of the potential LP.

“Every time I try to do the T-Wayne album something’s going on with Wayne. Right now I don’t think it’s a good time,” said the crooner. “We send songs back and forth, but he really doesn’t want to release anything cause of his [contract] situation.”

Wayne is currently in a legal battle with his longtime label Cash Money Records. As for T-Pain, the Florida native recently dropped his new mixtape The Iron Way.
