Suge Knight Says He Was Forced To Go To Court In A Wheelchair

THE FORMER CEO CLAIMS HE WAS FORCED TO GO TO COURT IN A WHEELCHAIR TO BE EMBARRASSED

Suge Knight faced a judge yesterday (Apr. 8) regarding his robbery charge that stems from a photographer accusing him and Katt Williams of taking her camera after he accused her of trying to snap photos of his young son, Billboard reports.

Judge Coen questioned the former Death Row CEO about his plans to hire a new attorney after Matt Kenner said he did not want to represent him anymore. Knight claims he wanted to fire Kenner anyway, so Coen gave him until May 27th to find new representation.

Knight has been experiencing health issues ever since he was charged with murder in February and returned to court this time in a wheelchair, although he told Judge Coen he could walk. TMZ reports that Knight says that the Sheriff’s deputies were forcing him to attend court in a wheelchair to embarrass him and make a spectacle out of him. He’s been rushed to the hospital four times since February after being charged with murder.

The 49-year-old will be back in court on Monday (Apr. 13) for a preliminary hearing in his murder case where he was charged for running over two men, one fatally, with his SUV in Compton, CA. Prosecutors will present evidence against Knight during the hearing.
