THE PRELIMINARY HEARING FOR THE SUSPECT HAS BEEN PUSHED BACK

The Philadelphia man who is charged in the murder of Nicki Minaj and Rihanna’s tour manager has had his court hearing postponed, Billboard reports.

On Wednesday (Apr. 15), a judge pushed the preliminary hearing back to Apr. 28th. On that date, the judge will determine if there is enough evidence to take this case to trial.

Pierce Boykin. 31, is accused of fatally stabbing 29-year-old Devon Pickett outside of a bar in Philadelphia on Feb. 18th. Pickett was in town with Nicki Minaj at the time. Boykin also faces attempted murder charges for leaving another member of Minaj’s team severely wounded.
